Is a Casino a lot lighter than a Dot or a Sheraton? I did find one online dealer that listed a lot of new Gibson ES-335 models with their weights and they all are at least a pound heavier than my Dot, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I'm particularly curious about 335 style models. I'd be curious to know what other people's guitars weigh, both Epiphones and other brands.
I guess Les Pauls can weigh as much as 10 lbs depending on the materials. According to a lot of the posts I've read on the internet that is actually on the light side for an electric guitar. On my bathroom scale it comes in at around 7.5 lbs. I'm a little surprised at how heavy it is though. I'll be replacing the pickups and other electronics, but I'm very happy with this guitar otherwise. I really like 335 style guitars and this one is in pretty nice shape. Call GAK now for Epiphone info, advice and the UKs best deals - 01273 665400. I've done a few searches and haven't found much discussion about this. The current Casino made with a select maple body and top with F-holes, trapeze bridge, mahogany neck (24.75' scale), neck and body binding, two volume and two tone controls, and parallelogram inlays.
